About an opponent clock...

Hi all!

An opponent, which whom had quite a bad situation (lost Queen), finally won on time. But the trick is its clock act strangely: on every move, he mostly spent quite some seconds (3 to 5, if not more), but regain these seconds when the moves were done. So, I thought the clock had way less time that mine, but how surprise I was when I looked at its clock.

I remember playing 20 years ago (or more) on a site (FICS) that allowed a clock adjustment for the ones that laged so they can have an equivalent chances against players with high bandwiths. But like always, some learned that creating a fake lag would eventually trick the system, and been able to win on time.

So, does lichess.org uses the same kind of programmtion?
