Rematch culture much worst in lichess org than chess com. Could we improve this?

Funny that it is only respectful when your own wishes are considered being more valuable than the wishes of other people.

What if the opponent has some emergency, toilet break and if you watch Hikaru's bullet matrix even he doesn't accept rematches
and if the opponent doesn't feel like playing rejecting a rematch is totally definable
There can be many reasons for not rematching.

Maybe lunch break is over, maybe another match has started, maybe internet connection is bad.
Maybe player lives in a different time zone and needs to sleep.

I wouldn't take that personally.

You can increase your chance for a rematch by being nice to your opponent during the game.
What exactly does chesscom do to promote rematches that lichess doesn't? This has to be a troll.
The problems start from otb fide. If the organization feel ok just to collect points without rematch then people would not consider it
Is it just the offer is too subtle in the UI? I find the end of game experience isn't brilliant, sometimes find the opponent already requested a computer analysis and whilst there are tools to talk to them the way it is set up isn't friendly to having a post game analysis session or similar.

Not sure how to make it better, rematch could just be a simple graphics change, but the whole end of game feels like UX work is needed to figure out how to do it best.

interesting point.
I do like the UI in the end of the game because it is not overloaded, but i feel like the analysis board and the "game board" should have the same chat? There is for sure an elegant solution to this.

Regarding the rematch offer... I dont care.
Punishing on the other hand people who decline rematch offers, is highly problematic to me.
Oh agree, I don't care too much about rematch, but I do think people may miss the offer. If the rate is that different it suggests something is askew, as I don't think chess players change that much between the sites.

Combining the chat with analysis sounds plausible... I don't think I've ever used the more advanced chat features either. Not sure we should aim to recreate club chess, being different is fine if the experience is good, and mostly Lichess is awesome.
