Pros Corner for Chess Discussion

Think I may have suggested this some time back but I am strongly in favor of a (sub) forum for chess discussion where only professional-level players can create threads, if not post altogether. For practical purposes, you would have probably have to limit it to titled players (no need to give people another reason to manipulate ratings). The reason being to stimulate focused discussions by players serious about the game. Personally I enjoy threads by master level players poring over an opening line or aspects of preparation as opposed to the 1000th thread by a beginner idly asking what the best opening is. Realize that players at the highest level are only a small percentile of the total user base, however interest in games is driven top-down and something that attracts engagement from the most serious players should be good for the server as a whole.
1. Do you think a Lichess Team forum would work?
2. Lichess has a discord server -- ask mods there to create a few more channels for experts?
@Egroegw

Team forum sounds like a reasonable idea, although it would exclude other players from seeing the posts unless I'm mistaken. I've never used discord tbh, not sure how that works.
Actually not! You can always see everything in a team forum, you just can't post there.
@Egroegw That's nice to know. Sounds like a good approach if someone is willing to take the initiative then.
That sounds kasparovish. Like lichess PCA (professional chess association).

Let‘s put it like Bertolt Brecht: if they were‘t bad (poor) you wouldn’t be good (rich).
According to my experience: strong players don’t roam and discuss in public forums, either way.
#7 I agree. How many titled players do you see in the forums? Not many.
