Player's country

Apologies if this has been discussed before (I expect it has) but I would like it to be *compulsory* for players to declare what country they are from.

On other chess playing websites most people are happy to say where they live but here very few people give this information.

This has little to do with chess but *much* to do with good human and international relations (or simply general interest in who your opponent is). Age and gender would be good to know too!

It adds a lot of interest to me when I know something more about my opponent than just their chess rating.

Or are my opponents just engines and not real people?
What happens if you're English though? It would be unfair forcing people to admit to that.
#1 What if you're from China or Korea?

"Age and gender would be good to know too!" I don't see any way that could possibly go wrong.
They should also be required to provide their real names.
It's interesting for me to know personal details of my opponent.
We respect the players' privacy if they don't want to share such information. That's why we don't require filling it in.
Next good thing to know would be a date of birthday of your opponent and a code of creditcard :)
P.S. (It was just a joke)
7wp Vs xxxx - This looks horrible.

Mendoza Vs Park - This looks beautiful

You can give a fictional last name and that doesn't hurt anyone.
