This position is not resignable

Me: let's try using the bishop to pin the white Knight to the Queen, winning the Knight

White: resigns

Stockfish: actually you'd just given White a mate in 3.

(It involves putting the queen on the edge of the board though, which not everyone would look for... I certainly didn't see it...)

It is the kind of mate I easily miss, covering many squares from a distance! But even if white misses Qa3, just a move like a4 would protect the knight and make the position quite equal, it seems.

Who would resign with a possible mate and an obvious solution to protect the knight? Strange!

I remember seeing people resigning when they had mate in 1 too...
