Lately, I've had a big losing streak. What should I do to get back on track?

Lately, I've had a big losing streak. What should I do to get back on track?

Its happened in the past few months, and the dip was around 100 points.
100 points is absolutely nothing, doesnt even mean you got worse at chess or anything. during last few weeks i went from 7xx bullet to 12xx to 8xx again. now bullet cant really be considered chess and to arrive at 7xx i had the flu for two weeks, but you get the drill, even in rapid 100 points isnt that much.

if you want help improving, you have to add more info about yourself, generally speaking.
if you want extrinsic motivation, maybe a coach, a study group or something like that is good.
if you want tipps on how to psychologically deal with loss, avoid tilt and that sort of thing, thats again something that works a little different for everybody, so more info would be good and a failsafe recipe that works for everybody is not on the table.

i remember a post of a user who said he was meditating for 2 hours and then instantly got on tilt again after 1 game. now from the outside its impossible to tell whether he didnt know how to meditate or whether it just isnt his thing (even if you are experienced with meditation, which i am not).

youll have to ask more specific questions and provide more of your chess background.

now some technicalities:
your better than 91% of players at your current rating of 2007 rapid
your highest rating was 2076, so theres really just a very minor fluctuation not even worth thinking about
your rating deviation is the lowest possible (45), so the algorhythm thinks your stable/consistent in your rating development
I highly suggest getting back on track by winning a game of chess
I'm on a losing streak too. And I don't care. That's why I'm losing. I've gotten back into astronomy. So I better not buy more books.

At least it's not astrology. Terry Pratchett books are pretty good though. And gardening is very effective, healthy and also gives you delicious food if you restrict yourself to edible/useful plants.

I also wouldn't care too much. Remember: You are (probably) just here for fun. FIDE master titles are maybe prestigious, but mostly worthless, because you won't earn money by playing chess anyway. Or earn anything permanent besides trophies.

Of course you can sink more time into chess, but the reward isn't worth it for most of us. Most chess prodigies start very young and even they end up accusing (each other/) others as cheaters or saying stupid things like "The Chess speaks for itself", because they lose the ability to interact with humans, since they are not chess figures.
I'll dive into chess again the next time I have nothing better to do. Amazing I bought so many books. I will play in a tournament. But my competition is strong. I'll have an intensly fun time. But I ikely won't win money.
