Hi orionchess
Hi orionchess
You got excellent record for game completion, so I do not know what happened.
Players who often leave games can only stay disconnected few seconds, before the opponent can claim victory. I love this (new?) feature in lichess where I can see how long time I need to wait to claim victory. -it range from few seconds to a couple of minutes in 5+3. I do not know if it is possible to see your own grace time.
Maybe you lost connection just long enough for the opponent to claim victory!?

hi Mizar
@hpekristiansen after Rf1 i was thinking for around 2 sec. about Rf1 Kf1 b4 and then got 1-0. the 1st my thought was that the opponent resigned. but then i recognized i lost.

There are enough of these claims in the forums for me to suspect they're not (always) network connection problems but something else such as the browser/os/thread/process not being polled often/quickly enough. I wonder if any stats are being collected about disconnections to see if there's a pattern: os, browser, hardware spec, physical location etc.
