#2 i don't think it's too bad, i got crushed in some blitz games myself :D
the d5 declined line is whatever, and in the accepted lines black has to play actively or he will get crushed by one of Ng5 Qb3 Bxf7 or something.

putting that out of worthless blanket advice and into actual moves: i think the best thing to do is to accept, develop the dark-squared bishop out of the incoming pawn chain, play d6 and develop the king's knight, in that order. don't play Be7 because obstructs the defense of f7 with the queen.

so my favorite line would go something like 4..dxc3 5 Nxc3 Bc5 6 Bc4 d6 7 Qb3 Qd7 (ugly but good) 8 Ng5 Ne5 (defending and attacking the c4-bishop, thus gaining time for h6), or on 8 Nd5 Nge7 (intending ..Nxd5 and O-O).
5..Bb4 is also def playable, but i don't like the line 6 Bc4 d6 7 Ng5! and now you have to either play 7..Nh6 or 7..Bxc3 followed by Ne5 and white's compensation seems very adequate. 7..Ne5 doesn't work because of Qa4+!
