http://tr.lichess.org/training/11603After these moves
Bxg7, Kxg7
Ng5, exd3
Qh7+, Kf8
Re1, Qxh2+
both Kxh2 and Qxh2 are mate in two, but it shows Kxh2 as a wrong move.
I remember this puzzle, it was already reported some time ago. It actually had a flawed line not involving mate, but winning the queen (Ne6+ instead of Re1). They seem to have deleted that line, but this Kxh2 is still there yeah :)
Actually Qxh2 is a mate in 4 :)
1. Qxh2 Kg7 2.Qh7+ Kf6 3. Re5(not the first move to look at by the way!) [any move] 4. Qh8# (or Ne4# in some of the lines).
So the "wrong" choice Kxh2 is shorter and indeed mate in 2
1. Kxh2 [any move] 2. Qh8#
Yeah you are right, I was thinking that keeping the queen on the seventh rank is neccesary while doing the puzzle but forgot about it.Thanks for pointing that out.
